A Little Bit About Me

Meet Millie!

Millie is a beautiful tuxedo kitty, looking for her second lease on life! She can be a real sweetheart, however, she requires a home that will go very slow with her and give her her own space. She enjoys relaxing around the house and exploring, but she also hopes that you will let her come to you on her own terms. She is looking for a quiet home, with no other cats and no small children as well, as she can get a little sassy!

Millie craves routine (no sudden movements, cuddling or surprises please!) and our foster family has worked with her to jump up on a certain location when she wants pets. Once she is pet and satisfied, she will move off that location and that is our cue to let her be. She likes to look outside the windows and will occasionally play with fuzzy balls or bell toys. She is not a fan of being picked up or being touched on her tummy area; however, she may come to sit close by or may even choose to sleep with you on the bed. Meals should be served at the same time each day, or else she will give you a chirpy reminder that it is due.

Millie hopes you live a quiet lifestyle and are looking for an independent feline who needs someone that truly understands her. Someone with previous experience owning this type of cat would be a great match.

If you think you are a purr-fect match for Millie, please:

1. Send in an online application
2. Speak with one of our adoption counselors. The next steps would include setting up a virtual meet and greet with Millie and our foster family.
3. If it's a successful match, Millie can go home with you!
